The trip to Bute Preceptory starts with a drive down to Wemyss Bay to catch the ferry boat to Rothesay. As you can see from the pictures below, the firth was calm but it was a rainy day.

Whist travelling on the ferry I took a few pictures of the District party.
The muster went splendidly. A Memorial Service was held for Fra. Geoff Spearman of Bute Preceptory followed the muster, which was attended by the Fraters of Bute, Members of District and the family of Fra. Geoff Spearman. After the Memorial Service there was a slightly rushed Refectory as time was against District Members as many had to catch the last ferry back to Wemyss Bay.
